A brand is a platform built on a promise. The promise that is believable and kept becomes stronger with every experience. A promise that is desirable and valuable creates a platform that many products can be launched from.
I obsess over brand and product touch points & design experiences to make sure the right promises are communicated, made, and kept.
Here are some snippets of work that I've done. If you're interested in seeing more work or process, shoot me a message through email or on Linkedin
zero trade insect protection brand
zevo™ is an insect control brand I launched while working at Procter & Gamble.
zevo™ outsmarts insects and uses their own desires to lure, trick, and eliminate them. Unlike existing brands that overpower them with toxic chemicals, zevo™ is harmless to people and pets. Currently on sale online, at Home Depot, and Alibaba tmall.com in China.
my role: I led all design touch points from UX & web design to device, visual, & sonic branding.
Febreze Home™ is a connected scent device, packed with additional sensors, that works with and exchanges data with Nest to make both products better. The device was launched as an MVP to get Procter & Gamble into the connected device game. Frebreze Home™ launched at CES 2016, and sold through until 2018, when the full feature successor, AIRIA™, was launched on Indiegogo and CES 2019.
my role: led product design work & collaborated cross functionally on strategy & proposition framing.
market fresh branding & food ordering system design
Market Fresh is a Seattle & Bellevue, WA based small business lunch and dinner chain located in some of the most iconic buildings around the city. The business is facing increasing competition from new, similar restaurants coming in. We are leveraging the business' existing locations and commercial kitchens in the prime urban cores to let customers purchase meal plans that offer freshly cooked healthy meals that can be picked up on demand.
my role: The rebranding, ordering system UX design is a collaboration between my fiance and I for the a family member that owns the business.
Crypto Primer blockchains summarized
I began investing in Bitcoin in 2013, Eth in 2015, and became more interested in the space through the years. I started noticing exponentially more mis-information floating around as the bubble started forming in early 2017. I made cryptoprimer.com and ran it through 2017 to 2018, off of the donations of kind internet strangers, during the peak of the hype. The website funneled the whitepapers of the top 50 coins at any time through an auto summary bot, with volunteered proof reading from redditors, and gave investor a way to quickly understand the purpose, mission, and history of each asset in addition to price movement.
The site averaged >400 unique daily visitor in the months before it was taken down.
I took the site down in May 2018 when the CMC API became paid, and the donation & ad offers stopped coming in. If you're a dev and are interested in collaborating, I still have the domain along with a few idea of where it can go. We should talk.
